We're really pleased to welcome Tony Orrell's powerhouse of a band back to the club for the last gig before our Summer break. Big Top have been a favourite at Fringe Jazz since they made their debut back in 2017. Tonight's line-up features the incomparable Jake McMurchie on tenor and the brilliant trombonist Raphael Clarkson up front, backed by the superlative rhythm section of Dan Moore on piano, Riaan Vosloo on bass and the mind-boggling Mr Tony Orrell on drums.
 
A Big Top gig is an extraordinary journey through the music of William Parker, Johnny Dyani, Keith Tippett, Duke Ellington, Ornette Coleman and superb original compositions by Riaan Vosloo. Not to be missed.
